IT Project Management - Testimonial
Field report – Tina
Please introduce yourself briefly: First name, age, degree program / education / degree, residence / area, hobby?
Hi, my name is Tina. I am 28 years old and have a Master's in Business Informatics with an emphasis on IT project management. I was born in Berlin, studied here and - thanks to univativ - now work in my favourite city of Berlin.
How did you become aware of univativ and what was the first contact like?
At that time a former fellow student was working at univativ. Univativ approached her and asked if she could recommend someone who would be suitable for an advertised position. She thought directly of me and that's how the contact came about. My first call with the univativ team was supposed to be just a brief introduction. In the end, we had a nice & interesting phone call that lasted an hour.
A few days later I started with my first project and got the chance to work for a company that would otherwise have been unthinkable.
What do you like about univativ? What don't you like about it?
I especially like the personal and competent support. My contact person is there for me whenever I need help or have questions. Whether it is the placement process, the care after placement or, for example, questions about billing, univativ is always there for me. I have always felt like I was in good hands.
Did you attend the events or the academy?
I had the chance to attend an ITIL class at the univativ academy. I successfully completed the two-day training and have been increasingly able to apply my acquired knowledge n the working environment. Besides, the ITIL certificate is a nice addition to my CV.
What happened after project completion?
After completion of the project, the company unfortunately could not offer me a permanent position. But univativ immediately offered me a new project. The placement was quick and successful, and now I am working on an exciting project with great colleagues and development opportunities.
Would you recommend univativ to your best friend? Why?
Of course I would recommend univativ!
The entry level for job starters is often not easy - univativ helped me. Especially as a career starter, you get the chance here to discover different companies - not as an intern but as a full-fledged employee.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years (and how did univativ help you with that)?
In five years I see myself as a project manager for digitisation issues, progress and customer perspective. As a young professional, univativ helped me to gain experience in such projects.
What is your life motto (if you have one)?
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change things I can,and the wisdom to know the difference.
What is most important to you about your job? (Listing of three things possible)
Fun at work, nice colleagues & a good halloumi doner kebab in the area
